James Hart Dyke

James Hart Dyke started painting at the age of eight after seeing
a small oil study by John Constable, however, it was not until finishing his studies as
an architect at the Royal College of Art that he became a professional painter.

Initially he focused on landscape, from the domesticity of painting country houses
to the rigors of three month expeditions to remote areas of the Himalayas.

During the past seven years, his work has become more eclectic as a result of imagery
generated from accompanying HRH The Prince of Wales on four royal tours
and working in war zones while embedded with the British Forces.

In 2011, James showed his exhibition "A Year with MI6" which resulted from his time as
artist in residence with the British Secret Intelligence Service in 2009.

The exhibition attracted worldwide media coverage.
October 5, 2012, was Global James Bond Day in celebration of 50 Years of James Bond.

It was also the day the documentary
"Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007" was released.

Hart Dyke created the 50th Anniversary artwork (commissioned by EON Productions)
that was used on the poster accompanying this documentary,
of which four highly collectable, coloured, Limited Edition prints were produced:
Yellow (Edition of 200),
Red (Edition of 75),
Blue (Edition of 75),
Deluxe (Edition of 50) on a white background overlaid with gold leaf.
